Been a long time in the making, but officially releasing Blackblood on webtoon on Oct 17th at 7 AM CDT or 8 PM PHT! That'll be where the artist, Isa Enriquez, checks in also if you have any comments you want her to see or reply to! I'll be uploading the comic here as well but it'll probably be a few days later when the weekend arrives when that can happen. 

So get ready! Get PUMPED!

We've been working on this for a while and are coming atcha with TWO CHAPTERS! That'll be 57 FULL COLOR pages!

Excited to share our story with y'all! 

Hey everyone! 

Updating on how things are going for me in comics and life and all that. Will start off with the pertinent art related stuff since it is dA and feel free to skip the life updates I don't mind haha. 

The Firefly Festival - Just released this comic short with some amazing artwork by It's been something we've dabbled with for some time, it's one of the first comics I ever wrote and I was hugely inspired by Kat's artwork I ended up making like 5 to 10 pitches off of her illustrations and suckered her into collabing with me It's one of the few slice of life works I have done and I learned a LOT from working on it both when I initially wrote it and until recently when we started getting the artwork going. Can't thank her enough for working with me and I am ecstatic with how it came out!

Blackblood - So this project was previously named "The Tale of Kita" which was always meant as a working title. We finally nailed down a title that had more significance to the story and themes The plan is to debut in July (mid to late) and I know I've said that before but I'm serious this time it's coming! We are going to have PLENTY to throw at you when we launch so be ready for some comic perusing! Our main hosting site will be Tapastic for this comic but it'll come to deviantart, webtoon, and smackjeeves. It may take a little longer just to upload onto dA because of the hassle of individually submitting them, but I'd never forget about you guys! Mid-late June expect a big update about Blackblood 

Life - I'm FINALLY getting out of Kirksville! We are moving to St Louis for the last 2 years of dental school and I am all moved into my new apartment We will start seeing patients towards the end of summer and I am so excited! If anyone's in STL and wants to say hi or get some dental work let me know haha. But we get a 2 week summer and it is much needed, THE BOOKWORK IS OVER!

Hey y'all!    

First off just wanted to talk a bit about an anthology I submitted to early this year. It's a Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde themed anthology by Red Stylo and honestly it was pretty interesting how they were set up. it's the first one where I simply sent in a script and well that was it... they literally handled the rest. So I haven't seen gotten a chance to see the full illustrated story yet nor even talked to the artist. BUT the kickstarter did drop today so if you are interested in peeking at the anthology and possibly backing it then it would be much appreciated! I am right there along side ya in wanting to read the comic itself when the kickstarter is done haha.

On the ToK front, we are still hard at work and are looking to finish chapter 1 this month and start the webcomic release! So stay tuned on that, suppose we will need to start marketing and advertising in the near future haha. If anyone can help spread the word when the time comes it would be HUGELY appreciated as i've never been the best at talking things up and generating buzz LOL. 

Hey everyone! 

Hope y'all have been well Been a while since i've really been active. So just wanted to give an update on things 

On the comics front, I wrote a script for the Jekyll and Hyde anthology by Red Stylo in the spring. Not sure how that's going as i've passed things over to the artist already but hopefully I can have a cool and creepy Mr Hyde type story for ya soon 

With ToK, we have been making some great strides so far on it this past summer! Isa has been hard at work revamping all of our concepts and getting new ones made of the major characters through the whole story! Also roughly 1/3 of the first chapter has been drawn up and 1/2 has been sketched, so expect a late 2018 drop of the webcomic! I hope y'all enjoy the story, it'll personally be my first big project so pretty nervous and excited with how things are coming together haha. 

For those who are new to the project or have simply forgotten the premise (it's been a while). It's follows the story of Kita, a young mage, whose family works as travelling merchants in a kingdom where magic is seen as taboo and has been deemed unlawful. The discrimination of mages is resulting from the backlash of a civil war amongst the kingdom's mages. In these times of turmoil, Kita's sister is kidnapped and it's up to him to go on a journey to rescue her. In his journey, he will learn that the war simply moved to the shadows and the history of the kingdom is much darker than he was ever told. 

If there's any particular aspects of the comic you guys would wanna see, let me know and i'll share if I can (if it's not too much spoiler wise haha).
