Here with some sad and happy news this time. Life has it's ups and downs, we just need to go with the flow sometimes and see what happens!
So i'll start off with the bad news first to get it over with. Tale of Kita is going to be taking an indefinite hiatus, but I will most certainly be looking to bring it back down the road. i can't say when that will be yet. Isa, the artist on the project, recently ran into some troubles regarding her Visa and is looking for a studio art gig as a potential path to helping her stay in the US. I would never want this project to get in the way of real serious matters like that, so I am completely in agreement that ToK shouldn't be her priority atm. At the same time, I am going to be starting dental school this summer and don't have time to reboot with a new artist. Not sure what the plan is, maybe Isa will come back or maybe ToK will come back with a whole new look.
Oh yeah I got into MOSDOH! (Missouri school of dentistry and oral health) WOOHOO! I'll be starting this July and will be gettin a bunch of studying in so I can clean some teeth! haha. The first two years will be the bulk of the studying, so not sure if i'll be doing comicy things or otherwise very much until then. I'll still be checking in though! So I'll try not to completely disappear haha.
I'm not without any comic updates though! I am collaborating on some anthology work with a couple artists! I won't drop all the details for this quite yet, since one requires us to make a pitch and hopefully be accepted. While the other is much more lax, we are still in real early phases on planning the comic! (so more details on that one when we are further along!)
In any case, sorry for those looking forward to ToK. I'll still be working on it from my end, and I have every intention of completing and continuing the series! The anthology work will be some awesome stuff when we finish and I think you all will enjoy reading it! I am so thankful for the artists who have partnered with me, such a blessing to work with people so talented
Thanks for all your support!
